Travel

If you are traveling a great distance to Leiden, we recommend flying into Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam (AMS) . From there, you can take a 15 minute train from the Schiphol Train Station to Leiden. I recommend using the following platforms:

Depending on where you stay in Leiden, you might find their bus system useful. If you think that will be the case, we would recommend downloading the 9292 app on the app store - it's updated consistently with time estimates and can help you find the best route from A to B.

Lodging

There are a number of hotels in Leiden - however, some are farther from Naturalis than others. We recommend finding a place near the train station. At these hotels, you will be close to not only the station, but to the venue and to downtown Leiden. Here are two options:
